Dealing with parasitic infestation of the feet

Small parasites which burrow beneath the skin, e.g. larvae of warblefly or the chigoe, should be removed before they can open up a route for further infection.

Chigoes penetrate the skin of the feet or lower leg leaving pinpricks in skin.

Remove the creatures with a needle and apply antiseptic ointment to the affected area.
